The life of our Church is centered around worshipping God and serving our community. This Church was established in 1925 and the current building was finished in 1949. Surrounded by the beautiful Morningside neighborhood, our church sits in the midst of a park-like setting.

Services:

Wednesday: 9:30a - Weekly Women's Bible Study; Monthly Women's Bible Study on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 9:00a
Sunday: 9:45a - Church school classes; 11:00a - Worship Service

Outreach Programs:

Religious Education: Church school classes for adults and children; Monthly and Weekly Women's Bible Study

Elder Care: Delivering Meals on Wheels in conjunction with First Presbyterian Church

AIDS Outreach: Preparing meals once a month for Common Gound AIDS Shelter

Homeless Outreach: Preparing meals once a month for Druid Hills Night Shelter, and collecting items for Clifton Night Shelter

Arts Programs: Music programs at Christmas and Easter and a Summer Music Series. Both adult and children's choirs.

Childcare: Preschool

Other Programs: Habitat for Humanity; preparing dinners for Villa International; mission trips to Hondurus

Additional Information: Morningside Presbyterian hosts the following groups: Scouting Venture Crew; Atlanta Opera Chorus; Atlanta Mandolin Society; Morningside-Lenox Park Association Board; Weight Watchers; Nicotine Anonymous; Parliamentarians; and 2 book clubs
